6-Week Crocheting Course - ages 12 to Adult
Taught by head Crafts-Woman Ms. El of Meditation Creations.

This 6-week crocheting wellness course is designed to help students learn the fundamental skills of crocheting in a supportive, creative environment. Whether you are brand new to crocheting or looking to build confidence with the basics, this course gives you the foundation to continue growing in the craft at your own pace.

What Students Will Learn

By the end of this 12-class course, students will understand key crochet techniques, terms, and tools while completing two handmade items.

How to Read & Understand Basic Crocheting Lingo - vocabulary & abbreviations.
The different meanings of US terms are compatible with UK terms.
Crochet Hooks Sizes/Metrics and Types
Yarn Conversions/Weights and Types
How to Grip Their Hook
How to Hold Their Yarn
Have Made 2 items

Location & Class Frequency

Location & Class Frequency:

Classes are held virtually through Zoom or Google Meet. Sessions are recorded so students can review instruction as needed.

Classes meet on Wednesdays from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM CST and Saturdays from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM CST.

Course Kit Materials Included

Each registered student receives digital handouts, crocheting tools with a case, and one roll of yarn to get started.

Bonus: Students receive a multi-stitch guide upon course completion.

Attendance, Makeup Sessions & Completion

If a student misses a class, makeup sessions may be scheduled based on the instructor’s availability on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, or Fridays before the next Wednesday class. Students may also stay after Wednesday class to catch up on missed instruction time.

To earn a course completion certificate, students must pass the final project exam. Students who attend the full course but do not pass the final project exam may choose to extend the course or schedule additional makeup sessions for a small fee. Refunds are not offered for missed semester classes.

Class size is limited. All registered students are required to have a signed Media Release & Participation Waiver on file with ASHEMPORIUM LLC.
